Meet Kate
A lifelong creative, one brushstroke at a time.
“My goal is to make creativity feel accessible and meaningful, and to help others notice the beauty already around them.”
I am Kate Wade, an artist and art educator based in Austin, Texas. For years I have had the privilege of inspiring young artists in the classroom while developing my own painting practice outside of school.
My work lives where the spiritual meets the seen: mandalas and sacred geometry, chakra figures, spirit animals, and the quiet architecture that runs underneath growing things. It is inspired by travel, by nature, by meditation, and by the small moments that usually go unnoticed.
When I am not painting or teaching you can find me practising yoga, dancing, meditating, or outdoors. Write to me at [email protected], or follow along on Instagram.
